Star

Material

  • Star template printed on white cardboard (attachment)
  • nail
  • Colored wool

Steps

  1. Prepare 1 example of a star for children.
  2. Before class, print the star templates on white cardboard in sufficient quantities.
  3. Take the nail and drill a hole at each white dot on the star, big enough to pass a piece of wool.
  4. At the time of the craft, give each child a star template and a piece of colored wool.
  5. Make a big knot at the end of the wool and ask them to put the wool end in each hole, as if they were sewing the star. This will refine their fine motor skills.
  6. Make a connection with the story of the day: God always keeps his promises.
