- Illustrations of children (girls and boys)
Steps
- Before class, cut out pictures of children from magazines, girls and boys from various backgrounds or from social situations mentioned in the nursery rhyme, in magazines.
- Use duct tape to paste the pictures onto a heart-shaped cardboard box at the top of which you write “God loves all these different children he has placed on earth.”
- Draw children’s attention to the photos.
- Say: “God has placed children on earth very different from one another. God loves all those different children he has placed on earth.”
- Teach the nursery rhyme by showing the pictures of the children in question.
