Pick Up The Wheat

 

 

Material

• Yellow pipe cleaners
• Cardboard/egg carton

 

Steps

1. Turn the egg carton upside down.
2. Pierce a hole with the pipe cleaner on top of the egg carton in each cup.
3. Place a yellow pipe cleaner in each cup. It will be wheat.
4. Ask the children to “pick up” all the pieces of wheat.
5. Explain how Ruth went to a wheat field to collect food for Naomi and herself.
