Magnetized Memo Pin

 

 

Material

• Wooden clothespins
• Black paint (gouache or acrylic)
• Black feathers
• Black and white googly eyes
• Yellow or orange construction paper
• Magnetized adhesive tape
• Glue

 

Steps

1. Place all the material on the table.
2. Ask the children to paint the clothespins black (let them dry).
3. Ask them to stick 2 or 3 black feathers on the back of the pin.
4. Ask them to glue the googly eyes on the front of the pin.
5. Ask them to cut out a beak shape from the construction paper (yellow or orange).
6. Tell them to glue the beak on the front of the pin.
7. Ask the children to add a piece of magnetized tape on the back of the pin. This way, children will be able to hang their crow on their refrigerator.
