Steps

1. Place the uninflated balloon in the bottle. Put the open end of the balloon on the outer edge of the bottle neck. Bring the bottle to your lips and try to inflate the balloon. It’s not going to work.
2. Then take the balloon out of the bottle and inflate it normally.
3. Then tell the children that sometimes, out of fear and doubt, we limit ourselves, preventing ourselves from reaching our potential.
4. Read Psalm 60.12 to them: “With God’s help we will do mighty things,  for he will trample down our foes.”
5. By regularly reminding ourselves this truth, we can eliminate fears (fear of being too small, fear of being not smart enough, fear of being too little,  etc.) and doubts that hold us back and prevent us from reaching our real potential.
