Jacob’s Arms

For Younger Children

 

Material

• Jacob’s Arms template (attachment)
• Foam sheet
• Cotton balls (cotton)
• Dark-coloured pencils
• Glue gun
• Glue
• Pipe cleaners

 

Steps

1. Print the arm model for each child.
2. Ask the children to draw Jacob’s two arms on a sheet of foam sheet using the template. The colour of the foam sheet does not matter because it will be covered with cotton balls.
3. Cut out both shapes.
4. Ask the children to glue two pipe cleaners on the sides of each foam arm with a glue gun.
5. Then ask the children to glue cotton balls on the foam arms. Tell the children to cover the arms completely.
6. Ask them to colour the cotton balls with a felt pencil.
