Material

• 1 deck of cards

 

Steps

1. Take out the deck of cards.
2. Holding the cards face down, let each child pick one.
3. Hold the cards so that only you can see them.
4. Ask the children to guess which card they have drawn (2 or 3 tries).
5. When after several guesses, they still haven’t guessed, tell them they can ask you for clues.
6. Then explain how much easier it is for them to guess their card when you help them. Similarly, it is easier to ask God what we should do instead of trying to guess for ourselves.
