A flower planted in a pot (a drawing if you don’t have flowers in a pot on hand)
Steps
Do the following object lesson.
Today I brought this flower. As you know, there are different kinds of flowers. Each one is special and unique. Friendship is like this flower. I have to take care of it, give it a drink so it doesn’t dry out, so it can grow up healthy. If I keep it in this pot, it will live longer.
The Bible says that if we want a friend, we must behave as a friend, that is, treat our friend as we want them to treat us: with love, with understanding, by listening to them, by being attentive to their needs, by accepting them as they are and not as we want them to be (adjust the soil, clean the leaves while you talk about it).
But at the same time, if we see that our friend is doing wrong, we must also urge him/her, that is, to tell him/her that what he/she is doing is not right, with patience and love (remove the dried leaves and garbage that is in the pot).
