Catch The Truth-Repulse The Lie

Steps

1. Ask the children to sit in a circle around the leader (animator) who holds a ball in his hands.
2. Explain to the children that the leader will throw the ball to a child by telling a lie or a truth (see examples). If the leader tells a truth, the child catches the ball. If he tells a lie, he pushes the ball.
3. Start the game.
4. Make the connection with the story of the day.

Examples (Think ahead of the realities the children in your group live through)

• You are handsome.
• You can’t be chosen.
• You’re ugly.
• You can do it.
• You have great value.
• I don’t make friends.
• I’m not able to talk.
• I make friends.
• Etc.
