Reflexion

In Psalms 139:13-16

13 It was you who formed my kidneys, who weaved me into my mother’s womb.

14 I praise you for being such a wonderful creature. Your works are admirable, and my soul recognizes it.

15 My body was not hidden before you, When I was made in a secret place, woven into the depths of the earth.

16 When I was a formless mass, your eyes saw me; And on your book were all inscribed The days that were intended for me, before none of them existed.

As God saw the needs of the Israelite people, he began to set things in motion for his rescue plan. His plan was to find the right leader who would be particularly well placed to confront Pharaoh and lead the people to the Promised Land. Moses was a baby who should have been killed. But when God has a plan, everything is put in place for him to execute. Moving Moses from his place as a slave to a position in the palace was not a problem for God. He knew exactly what he was doing. The good news is that God is doing exactly the same thing in our lives. Even during times when we feel God is far from us and we are not doing what we think is best, we can trust that God is at work. We can believe that he has the power and wisdom to put our lives in order to make the plan he has for us fulfilled.
