Nehemiah’s Building Bricks

 

 

Material

• Pieces of chocolate cake
• Cake icing of different colours
• Smarties
• Small paper plates
• Plastic knives

 

Steps

1. Give each child a piece of cake on a paper plate.
2. Let the children decorate their brick (piece of cake) with the icing of the colour they desire.
3. Ask them to put Smarties of the colour matched to the icing as if it’s a lego block (building block).
4. Make the connection with the story of the day.
