Invent All Kinds Of Characters

Material

  • Rings (3 per child)
  • Hole punch
  • Sheets of paper cut into 3 (see image)
  • Coloured pencils
  • Accessories (pipe cleaner, googly eyes)

Steps

  1. Distribute several sheets of paper to the children. Ask them to stack the papers into piles of equal numbers and punch a hole on the left hand side of each pile. Finally, ask them to tie them with the rings. They have three bundles of sheets.
  2. Explain to them that on the first bundle of sheets, they can draw several kinds of eyes, on the second, different noses and on the 3rd, several mouths.
  3. In this way, you let them create all kinds of characters by making the analogy with Rebecca who created a whole scenario.
