• Paper plates
• Painter’s tape
• Coloured markers

 

Steps

1. With the painter’s tape, make a letter or a shape on the plate as you see fit. The model is made in the form of a letter but it doesn’t really matter.
2. Colour (smear style) on and around the tape.
3. Gently remove the tape to reveal the protected space.
   
4. Ask the children to look at the space that has been protected by the tape. Then pray for the people they know and the people in the news who might need God’s protection. If they want to pray for specific people, they can write their names or draw in the protected space.
