Material

• Large sheet of paper
• Children’s silhouettes (1 per child)
• Coloured pencils

 

Steps

1. Place a large sheet of paper on the floor.
2. Ask a child to lie on the sheet.
3. Draw the outline of his body.
4. Then bring the silhouette to a table.
5. Draw face, hair, clothing, etc.
6. Give the children coloured pencils and tell them to colour the silhouette.
7. If you have a large group, make several silhouettes.
8. While the children are colouring, sing a song about creation.

 

Optional

• Give each child a copy of the child’s silhouette.
• Ask each child to colour the silhouette to make it look like it.
