I Walk Like Goliath

 

 

Material

• Card
• Wool or ribbon
• Marker
• Painting or/and coloured pencils
• Hole punch
• Scissors

 

Steps

1. Before class, cut out large cardboard rectangles and draw feet. Make sure you make enough rectangles for all children to have two.
2. Cut lengths of wool or ribbon to tie children’s feet to the cardboard.
3. Distribute 2 cardboard rectangles to all children.
4. Tell them to decorate them with paint or coloured pencils.
5. Tell them to cut out the foot shapes.
6. Help children put holes in the cardboard feet and tie the wool or ribbon to the feet so they can attach them to their own feet.
7. Watch them move forward and be Goliath.
