Pick Up The Stones

 

 

Material

• Blue Jelly (Jello)
• 5 smooth stones
• Low and deep, transparent container

 

Steps

1. Before class, cook the blue jelly according to the recipe on the package. When the jelly is poured into the container, place the stones inside and let it set in the refrigerator.
2. When class begins, place the container on the table and show the stones inside the jelly.
3. You can ask the children to pick up the stones in the jelly.
4. Make the connection with the story you’ll be telling. In the Bible, David chose 5 smooth stones in the river to fight Goliath.
