Steps

1. Recite and mime the rhyme.
2. Then stop and say, “God helps me in many ways. Are you glad that God helps you?”
3. Recite and rhyme the entire nursery rhyme two or three times.
4. Encourage the children to do the gestures with you.

(Pretend to eat.)

• God gives us a drink

(Pretend to drink.)

• No need to worry

(Nod your head as a sign of saying no.)

(Point to the sky, then to your mouth.)
