Find The Jewel

 

 

Material

• Different jewels
• Tray
• Dish towel

 

Steps

1. Before class, place the various jewels on the tray.
2. Ask the children to observe the jewelry on the tray.
3. Place the dish towel on the jewelry.
4. Then remove an object without showing it to the children.
5. Take off the dish towel and ask the children which jewel is missing.
6. Make the connection with the story of the day: Esther wore jewelry.

• You can start with only three pieces of jewelry and add a piece of jewelry when the degree of difficulty is too low.
