• Transparent bottle
• Rice
• Jewelry

 

Steps

1. Before class, put jewelry in the bottle. Then fill the bottles with rice.
2. Ask the children to find the items (objects) in the bottle.
3. Make the connection with the story you will tell. In the Bible, there was a woman who wore jewelry for a beauty pageant.

Optional

• You could only put a necklace in the bottle to represent Esther’s simplicity.
• Rice is not the only option, you can put quinoa, small pasta or even sand.
