Whistle Through What You Need

Before class, prepare torches using toilet paper rolls and putting tissue paper inside.
Place trumpets, vases, torches and other objects in the plastic bin or box.
On cue, ask the children to look at the items and choose one.
Then ask them to guess which object will be used in today’s story.
After they have chosen the objects, tell them that those who have selected trumpets, vases or torches are right.
Explain how these are the three things God asked Gideon to bring to battle.
