Eagle

Material

  • Blue construction paper
  • White paper
  • Yellow paper
  • Brown paint
  • Cardboard plates
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Steps

  1. Give each child a blue construction paper.
  2. Put brown paint on the cardboard plate.
  3. Let the children dip one of their hands in the brown paint so that it covers it.
  4. Ask the children to make a print of their brown hand in the middle of the craft paper.
  5. Then ask them to dip their hand again in the paint to make another handprint, but by placing it in the opposite direction. Make sure the palm of the hand is in the same place as the previous print.
  6. Ask the children to cut out the white paper to make the head and tail of an eagle.
  7. Ask them to cut the yellow paper into a small triangle.
  8. Then ask them to glue the head on the handprints and glue the tail at the bottom of the handprints.
  9. Finally, ask them to glue the yellow triangle on the eagle’s head to make its beak.
