Jonah And The Whale

 

 

Material

• 2 paper plates
• Construction paper
• Images of objects(PDF)
• Scissors
• Blue and pink paint
• Googly eyes
• Glue

 

Steps

1. Before teaching, print the sheet of objects and the template of the whale for each child.
2. Distribute the sheets of paper to the children and ask them to cut up the items.
3. Ask the children to cut the three fins and tail of the whale.
4. Ask them to paint the fins and the outside of a plate blue.
5. Then ask them to paint the inside of a plate pink.
6. Ask the children to glue the tail on the blue plate.
7. Then ask them to glue the fins on the sides of the plate.
8. Ask them to glue the two plates together. Make sure the pink side is inside the plate and placed under the other plate.
9. Place all objects in the whale’s mouth.
