Grapes From Canaan

 

Material (for the game)

• Bunch of grapes
• Painter’s tape

 

Steps (for the game)

1. Using the painter’s tape, make a starting line.
2. Place two children on the start line.
3. Place two more children a little further, and place two more even further and so on.
4. Give the grapes to the two children at the start line.
5. At your signal, the children must transport the grapes in pairs and pass it to the next pair children.

 

Material (to make the bunch of grapes)

• 12 purple balloons
• Broomstick or wooden stick
• String
• Green cardboard
• Scissors
• Pencils

 

Steps (to make the bunch of grapes)

1. Inflate all the balloons.
2. Create several bouquets of balloons.
3. Attach them to a string to create a huge bunch of grapes.
4. Attach the bunch (the string) to the broomstick or wooden stick.
5. Draw images of leaves on the green cardboard and cut them out.
6. Glue them to the top of the grape cluster.

Optional

• Allow extra balloons in case some of them burst.
