Steps

1. Show the illustrations and ask children to hold them.
2. While you are repeating each line of the verse, ask a volunteer to show the illustration.

 

Nursery Rhyme

• Baby Moses is in a basket

(Put your hands together in a bowl-shape to make a basket.)

• He’s very small, we can rock him

(Pretend to rock a baby in your arms.)

• But God has planned that he will lead his people

(Walk in place.)

• When he grows up

(Put them on tiptoe and raise your arms.)
