The Manna From Heaven

 

Material

• Foam pom-poms or cotton balls
• Styrofoam cups (Polystyrene)

Steps

1. Give each child 1 cup of styrofoam (Polystyrene). Tell them that they will have to fill it with objects that will come down from heaven. The child whose cup will be full first will be the winner.
2. Then throw the foam pom-poms or the cotton balls in the air. Be sure to throw them at different areas of the classroom.
3. At your signal, children can start picking up the “manna.”
4. When the game is over, tell the children that there is a story in the Bible where the Israelites also had to pick up something that came down from heaven. It was their food… Start the story.
