The Heart of the Father

The Queen of Sheba traveled to meet a man of wisdom, King Solomon.

She was curious and wanted to see if he really was a wise man. Is wisdom important? Oh yeah ! Wisdom prevents us from making mistakes and it helps us to think things through before making a decision. No matter how old we are, it’s wise to seek advice from people older than us before making decisions. We must never forget to ask for help from the One who is WISDOM, the One who created you and who knows better than anyone what is good for you.

Sometimes He speaks to us directly and sometimes He uses the people around us. You have big brothers and big sisters around you ready to help you.

The Father desires your happiness and desires that you have a life filled with joy and not with pain. He will always be there to give you the wisdom you need to make the right decisions. Listen to His voice and trust Him.

Prayer

“Father, help me to remember that I am not alone, that You are there and that I have people around me ready to help me make good decisions. I know You want my happiness. If I walk a path that leads to destruction, speak to me and give me the wisdom I need to change direction. Thank you that You love me and take care of me. amen »

Application

1. Tell the children your personal stories of wisdom. Tell them about situations where you were at an impasse and how the wisdom of the Father came to help you.
2. They need to hear about the actions of the Father in your life.
